Morwell National Park is situated in the northern foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges. Traverse in solitude except for the distant call of lyrebirds, through rare and ancient rainforest. Not only discover hidden streams and natural treasures, find a healthy wild population of genetically unique South Gippsland koalas. The eastern section of the track can be walked in three complete loops of 1-2 days each: Mt Tassie Loop, Macks Creek Loop and the Tarra Valley Loop. Alternatively you could walk these loops as a continuous circuit of 3-5 days. This allows you to explore a variety of short rainforest walks, waterfalls, picnic areas and the popular Corrigan Suspension Bridge along the way.
